Years ago when looking into opening a coffee shop, I continually read that coffee is best within two weeks from the time it is roasted. I kind of laughed at this notion thinking, "Where could I find coffee that was roasted less than fourteen days ago?" And was it true that all the coffee I had ever had, had been stale?
After searching and travelling, I was able to experience fresh roasted coffee, and everything I had read was true. Coffee should be drank within two weeks from the day it was roasted. To truly know what coffee is supposed to taste like; fresh, lively crisp, not bitter and depleted of its essence.
